What’s it about?

Aza Holmes never intended to pursue the disappearance of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there’s a hundred-thousand-dollar reward at stake and her Best and Most Fearless Friend, Daisy, is eager to investigate. So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Pickett’s son Davis.

Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts.

Lovely feature for a book that focuses on mental health! 🙂 Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of John Green’s writing style, so I haven’t read this one, but I’m going to take this month to try and see what other books I can read on the topic. Let me know if you have other recommendations! 😊

Thanks so much, I’m glad you’re going to give it a try!! Some other great YA books about mental health are Holding Up the Universe, Girl in Pieces, I Fell in Love With Hope, Every Last Word, and If He Had Been With Me!! Hopefully some of those books sound good, they are all really powerful reads!
