Hello book lovers! Today’s topic is books that left me speechless. Most of the books I talk about on this list are super sad, but it is totally worth reading them because they are super impactful! Be sure to add some of these awesome books to your never ending TBR! 🤪

I Fell in Love With Hope

I Fell In Love With Hope is a wonderfully powerful novel about several kids in hospital, and their journey through life. The novel is told with many themes about grief and hope, which makes it an extremely impactful read. The events in this book broke my heart and truly left me without words.

This Is Where It Ends

This Is Where It Ends follows several different characters through the events of a school shooting. Naturally, this book is very heavy and extremely powerful. The story had me constantly on edge and sobbing for almost the whole time. The book was perfectly crafted to help educate readers on these horrific events, as well as provide a really good book to read. This Is Where It Ends is such an impactful read, I believe everyone should read it at least once.

Between Shades of Gray

Between Shades of Gray is about a young Lithuanian girl during the time of the Soviet invasion in 1941. This book is extremely powerful, as many WWII novels are, and is perfectly written to be respectful, informative, and a gripping read. This events in this book are truly horrific, and Sepetys does a wonderful job of helping readers better understand this event in history. All of the stories in the book left me speechless, and this book is definitely a must read.

As Good As Dead

This is the final book to the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder trilogy! I can’t say too much about why this book left me speechless due to the nature of the story, but wow. The ending on this one had me going a little crazy. Let’s just say I didn’t predict the ending to this one!
