Weekly Reading Update #7, February 12

Hello book lovers!! Here’s this week’s reading wrap up!! I finished a total of 6 books!!! Hopefully one more though, depending on how much I read tonight! 🤪 Also, I’m starting a new format for these posts!! Check it out below!

Books I finished

I finished The Only Plane in the Sky! The audiobook was amazing, and is must read! It’s an extremely powerful read!

I also finished The Twin, which I wasn’t a huge fan of. The ending just wasn’t it for me, and I feel like it kind of lacked some resolve. I did enjoy most of the read, it was just the ending that I really disliked.

Books I started and finished

I started and finished Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow! This read was so emotional and raw, it’s definitely a must read.

The Fall of Five and The Revenge of Seven are two audiobooks I listened to! They are the 4th and 5th books in the Lorien Legacies! At first, I wasn’t a huge fan of the series, but I switched to audiobook and I’m loving them!!

Lastly, I read Animal Farm in one sitting! I started this book, and since it was pretty short I finished! It was good! Very interesting to analyze!!

Books I continued but didn’t finish

I continued on with Astrophysics for People in a Hurry! So far I’m absolutely loving it!! I would highly recommend this to anyone who’s looking for an interesting and introductory book on astrophysics!

Books I started

I started The Fate of Ten, the 6th book to the Lorien Legacies! So far so good, but I’m only 2 or so hours in! I do love that it jumped right into the action!

I also started Two Sides to Every Murder by Danielle Valentine! I may actually end up finishing this book, like I mentioned above! My review of this book will be coming very soon!!

That’s everything I read this week! Any reading highlights this week? Share them below!! Happy reading!!!

You can never go wrong with Animal Farm, it is more relevant today that it ever was. You could probably say that was true of two other Orwell books – 1984 (obviously) and Down and Out In London and Paris. This book spoke to me at a time I was struggling mightily in life and my favorite quote from the book – “When you are poor and have nothing you only have tomorrow.” I love your site, keep up the good work! Your tag line is spot on too! Hehe “I closed my book to be here”
