No Shelf Control

Hey guys!! Here with my first weekly reading update! Every week I hope to post about what I read, and how I am enjoying the book(s) so far. I read a lot, but the amount I read each week can vary A LOT! Some weeks I’ll read 5 books, and other weeks I’ll only ready 1 or 2!! But anyways, hope you enjoy and happy reading!!!

Monday January 1

So on Monday I finished Want by Cindy Pon. I only had a bit over 100 pages left, so that was pretty quick!! The book was fairly good, I rated it 3.5 stars. The genre is YA dystopain, which can get a little repetitive, but I think Want was very unique!!

After finishing Want, I continued on with All of Us Villains!! I read about 150 pages, and it was amazing!! I’d started this book a couple days ago, so I was about halfway!!

Tuesday January 2

On Tuesday I finished All of Us Villains!! The novel was great!! It was a like a mix between Hunger Games and Harry Potter, with some motifs/themes from Six of Crows!!! I rated the book 4.5 stars!!

I also started Caraval today!! I read just over 50 pages, and I loved it! It’s a little weird at first, but I can’t wait to finish the book!!

Wednesday January 3

I honestly have no idea how much I read today! I was reading Caraval, and I think I read 100ish pages! I’m still absolutely loving the book!!

Thursday January 4

I finished Caraval today, and began listening to Once We Were by Kat Zhang! Caraval was great, and the ending was kinda unexpected! I rated the book 4 stars!! I also started Legendary, the second book the Caraval, and I got 50ish pages in!! So far it’s good, but I wish there was a different POV!!

Friday January 5

I didn’t to much reading today! I was pretty busy so I only lisnted to 20-30 minutes of Once We Were. I’m not really a huge fan, but it’s alright!

Saturday January 6

I finished Once We Were today, and I started Crying in H-Mart!!! Once We Were definitely was not my favorite, but it was still interesting at some points. I rated it 3 stars! Crying in H-Mart so far is absolutely AMAZING! The story us extremely powerful! So far I’m enjoying it a lot!!

Sunday January 7

I finished Crying in H-Mart today! The book was incredible! Her story (it’s a memoir) is such a powerful one. Warning: it’s a tear jerker! I would definitely recommend you read this book! I gave it 4.5 stars for now, but I might change it 5 after I have a chance to think about it for awhile!!

So this week was definitely a heavy reading week!! I hope you found some books that might interest you, and that you might enjoy as much as I did!!!
