The Smugglers Inn is usually quiet during the days nearing Christmas. Suddenly, on the first night of twelve-year-old Milo’s winter vacation, the guest bell rings. Suddenly, the inn is crowded with strange and secretive guests, each one of them bringing a story somehow connected to Milo’s home. When objects start to disappear, Milo and the chef’s daughter, Meddy, race to decrypt clues and unravel mysteries. But on their quest for the truth, they begin to discover more about the Greenglass House then they ever imagined.
Why Read It Now?
The Greenglass House is soooooo cozy and fun!! I specifically waited to read this until winter, due to a friend recommending I do so, and it was definitely worth it!!! It’s an absolutely magical mystery to read as Christmas quickly approaches and the holiday season is in full swing!
