Hello book lovers! Here’s another Thursday’s Thoughts! You know those books that make you cry for just a little too long? Here’s a list of all the books that made me cry for way too long. I still love these books, and maybe I love them just a bit more in spite of their sadness.

The Fault in Our Stars

You probably know why this book is sad. The Fault in Our Stars follows Hazel, a terminal cancer patient. When I read this book, I was crying for ages. The novel is written with so much emotion and love, it makes it so much sadder to read.

This is Where it Ends

This is Where it Ends follows several characters through the events of a school shooting, so naturally this novel is heart wrenching. The writing is so raw and brutal, it had me crying for a bit too long.

Five Feet Apart

Five Feet Apart is a novel about a young girl with Cystic Fibrosis who falls in love with a boy that she can’t be with. This books is so sad, yet also beautiful. I was crying throughout this entire book.

They Both Die at the End

If the title doesn’t clue you into the fact that this book is a tear jerker I don’t know what will. They Both Die at the End is about two boys who fall in love, but only have one day to spend together. The storyline is so sad, yet also hopeful at times, making it a very powerful read.

Allegiant

Allegiant is the third and final book in the Divergent trilogy. This book had me in tears for quite a while. I can’t say much due to spoilers reasons, but I was definitely wrecked for a little bit.

Those are some of the books that made me
