Here are some of my favorite young adult fantasy books! Make sure you check back for more books cause the list is always growing!! Happy reading!!!

Six deadly criminals. One impossible heist.

Ketterdam, famous for it’s thieves, is home Kaz Brekker. The crook that can get away with anything, except maybe this. With an offer he can’t refuse, Kaz sets on a mission to break into the Ice Court, the impenetrable palace of Fjerda. He can’t do it alone, but can his little band of criminals do it with him? Or will they kill each other first?

Six of Crows offers a perfect world, characters, and plot. This book really goes to show how good fantasy can be, and how good world-building can lead to an amazing read! I don’t care if you hate fantasy, or even reading, you HAVE to read this book!

Jude was just a kid when her parents were killed and she was brought into the magical world of Faerie. Her only wish is to fit in with the Faerie and be able to have a place in the High Court. The only problem is that many of the Fey hate humans and their fragile mortality. Especially Prince Cardan. He spends his days making Jude’s life pure misery. In order to win the life she wants, she must defy him and suffer the consequences, assuming she survives it.

This book is a pretty fun read! The characters are well-written, which makes the story very exciting. If you love the enemies to lovers trope, this book is definitely for you!

The Maji people lost their magic many years ago. Now, they are constantly discriminated against under the monarchy. The princess of Orisha, Amari, is tired of her life of royalty when she escapes with a magic scroll that threatens to bring magic back. Zelie leads the fight to save her people. Inan, the future king, leads the race to catch the criminals. But along the way he sees a different side of the war, and begins to question everything he fights for.

Children of Blood and Bone is pure magic! I absolutely adored this book! This is the perfect read for any and every YA fan! I’ve never read a fantasy quite like this!

Mare Barrow isn’t weak, but in a world of Silvers she is nothing. Her blood is red, she doesn’t have the abilities those with silver blood do. Or so she thought. In front of the whole world, she discovers that she has a power she shouldn’t. What lengths will the monarchy go to cover up the secret of Mare’s red colored blood?

This book is quite unique! The concept was very clever and refreshing! It is a fun read for a wide age range, (mostly YA, but can be read by some MG) and has some very good messages! Read this if you like a good fantasy or if you liked The Cruel Prince!
